This is the website for the ERC Starting Grant project FASTPARSE (Fast Natural Language Parsing for Large-Scale NLP), led by Prof. Carlos Gómez-Rodríguez at the University of A Coruña (Spain). The main goal of this frontier research project is to develop new algorithms and techniques to improve the speed of natural language parsers, making them suitable for web-scale processing.
This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 714150).

- One of the researchers of the FASTPARSE team, Mark David Anderson, will present part of his research work at the SyntaxFest2019 to be held in Paris from August 26th to 30th, 2019.
- Carlos Gómez-Rodríguez, David Vilares Calvo and Michalina Strzyz will attend the 2019 Annual Conference of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2019) that will take place in Florence (Italy) from July 28th to August 2nd, 2019. For further information click here.
