This is the website for the ERC Starting Grant project FASTPARSE (Fast Natural Language Parsing for Large-Scale NLP), led by Prof. Carlos Gómez-Rodríguez at the University of A Coruña (Spain). The main goal of this frontier research project is to develop new algorithms and techniques to improve the speed of natural language parsers, making them suitable for web-scale processing.
This project has received funding from the European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (grant agreement No 714150).

- Carlos Gómez-Rodríguez will attend the 56th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics (ACL 2018) that will take place in Melbourne (Australia) from July 15th through July 20th, 2018. - The jury of the Research Awards of the Scientific Informatics Society of Spain (SCIE) - BBVA Foundation 2018, has decided to award one of the Prizes to Young Researchers on Computer Science to David Vilares Calvo, researcher of FASTPARSE group.
